Design and Analysis of Coreless Axial Flux Permanent Magnet Machine with Novel Composite Structure Coils

چکیده

In this paper, a type of novel composite structure coil applied in the coreless stator is proposed and studied to improve output performance efficiency axial flux permanent magnet (AFPM) machine. which effective conductor changed be wedge-shaped by rolling technology so that turns coils filling factor can further increased, ends are kept cylinder with larger diameter reduce DC copper loss. Meanwhile, air region between double rotors machine also modified wedge-shaped, fully matches shortens gap length. The advantages verified three-dimensional (3D) finite element analysis (FEA) analytical method characteristics no-load load improved, loss eddy current reduced. AFPM finally performs high 95.34% according these valuable optimizations.
